Climate change is a global problem, but the solution is local. To get our elected leaders to do what's necessary—create millions of new green jobs, greatly reduce emissions and halt new coal plants—we need real leadership at the local level, leadership that can’t be bought or sold.
You can be the voice that leads the climate change movement in your community by talking to your neighbors, organizing local events, reaching out to local organizations, coordinating with other groups and making climate change a key issue for your Congressperson and other elected leaders.
You won't be alone: you'll be part of a nationwide network of 1Sky Climate Precinct Captains in each of the approximately 300,000 electoral precincts nationwide, working to make a difference.
